Kay Bojesen Teak Monkey - Small

Proving that good design doesn't have to mean cheerless functionalism, the wooden toys created by Kay Bojesen have delighted Danish children for decades. Bojesen was trained as a silversmith but is most well-known for his series of rather elegant wooden toys. His cheerful teak monkey, designed in 1951, has achieved a certain iconic status and a prominent place on more than one adult's bookshelf or coffee table who appreciate it's warm, organic modernism.
