My wheel-thrown spoon rest dishes are 100% handmade and are functional ceramic pottery. Perfect for use as tabletop or stovetop spoon rest, coffee and tea bar, soap dish, trinket dish, and more. The raven bird spoon rest features my own photograph, decal-fired onto the final glaze. Once the clay is bone dry, I fire to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 8+ hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 8+ hours). Each piece is 100% unique.
