These one off sand castings pieces were one of my favorite process experiments. I had used a clay hoop I had made. Pressed it into the clay. Set the stone in the center and when I opened the mold after pouring the gold I relished in the different ways in which the gold either fully enveloped or partially enveloped the stone.
