Generally known as one of the “lighter” red wines, Merlot is often blended with bigger reds to round out their sometimes hollow mid-palate. Merlot at Caldwell, however, is in a class all its own. Grown on some of our steepest hillsides, our Merlot is round, thick, dense and structured. Think classic rock. Rich, balanced and luscious.
