This pool-side scene with its beautiful deep blue tones falls between landscape and interior. It is part of Michael Stuetz's "California" series of photographs - scenes of seemingly banal moments that are rendered uncanny. Stuetz, a New York-based photographer, has had numerous solo exhibitions and has participated in group shows in the U.S. and internationally. He received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and an MFA from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
