1940s Persian Runner Rug - 55" x 100" - ON HOLD

An exceptional Persian runner rug, handwoven in the 1940s. A dynamic design comprised of three central medallions with floral and animal motifs. The wool is dyed in a striking palette of bright reds and oranges, with details in blues, beiges, and greens. Surrounding the medallions is a series of bands that repeat these same colors in an arrangement of geometric and floral symbols.Dimensions:4' 7" x 8' 4" (55 in. x 100 in.) Condition notes: Overall in very good condition. Areas of discoloration and wear that are consistent with the rug's age and use.
