Almost Uncirculated Nueva Granada (Columbia) silver 1/2 real coin. Struck at the Popayan Mint, assayer UE. Catalog: Restrepo-178.24 Certified by PCGS to AU 53, Population Census: This coin, only 1 higher (AU 58), NGC 0/0. Appears to be the scarce 1846/5 overdate variety, but PCGS did not make that attribution in this older holder. Colorfully toned with lustrous surfaces, beautiful in hand.
