Constantine X Ducas & Eudocia, Byzantine Emperor & Empress ruled 1059-1067 CE, AE follis coin, 10.68g, Constantinople mint, Sear 1853. Certified by NGC to VF. Pedigree: Ex. Empire Coins Auction #7, 5/2/87, Lot 789 (Ex. Gordon Dickie Collection with his notes).  Obverse: Christ standing facing on footstool, wearing nimbus cr., pallium and colobium and holding book of Gospels with both hands, in field IC & XC. Reverse: Eudocia on left and Constantine, bearded on right standing facing, holding between them labarum with cross on shaft, resting on three steps, each wearing crown and loros.  Eudocia is featured on Byzantine coinage as wife of Constantine X, as regent for her sons Michael VII and Constantius, and finally as wife of Romanus IV.
