Superbly detailed Imperial portrait and presentation of Felicitas. Obverse: IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC PM TR P, laureate head right with Aegis on left shoulder. Reverse: COS V P P SPQR OPTIMO PRINC. Felicitas standing left holding caduceus and cornucopia. Felicitas was the personification of good luck and success. Felicitas could encompass both a woman's fertility, and a general's luck or good fortune. She had a temple in Rome and her festivals were on July 1st and October 9th.
