This is a design I drew and had turned into a stamp. I used black glaze to fill in the grooves and sealed the front/sides with a clear glaze. Because the black is wiped off it has a gray cloudy look giving it even more of a gothy vibe. They are all slightly different due to the glaze. Size just shy of 3" Weight 1.2 oz Materials White Stoneware Clay for functional pottery and lead free, food safe glazes. How it's Made Each piece is made by me, Lindsay Keating in my studio in southeastern PA. I throw each piece on the pottery wheel, trim it, sculpt any additional elements such as a handle/make any alterations, carve and/or paint by hand, glaze and fire it twice.
