Throughout Cloven's lands can be found numerous - sometimes ornately detailed & sometimes purposely simple - but always impressive, lanterns.  Crafted by our own blacksmiths and tinkers, for the sole purpose of lighting the endless paths that criss-cross our vast woodlands.  So many twists and turns, so many trails along the sea cliffs, so many dark, forest-laden corners, you can imagine the number of beacons necessary to illuminate the way home for just about any one of our many denizens, especially during the dark half of the year.  And all those lamps need igniting …  That's where our beloved Lamp Lighters come in. The Lamp Lighters begin their task in the wee hours, setting out to follow a very definitive trace lighting every lamp, marked on the generational, hand-drawn Lighter Maps, and they don't hang up their oils & flame till pardoned by a fellow Lamp Lighter - each one of them often making multiple trips along their route to maintain and check up on the lam
