Part of the "prayer plant" family (Marantacae), Calathea picturata are native to South America. Like other Calathea sp. this plant LOVES humidity, bright indirect light, and to be watered with the top 1/3 of soil is dry. These plants prefer the use of distilled/rain/filtered water as they are a bit particular. Pet safe!
