GODZILLA. After slumbering for several years, Japan’s Toho Studios resurrected their fire-breathing atomic monster to battle that famous giant simian, who has been kidnapped by a pharmaceutical company to shill their products! Maestro Ifukube composed a stunning score that mixes original Godzilla themes from the 1954 film with new material. Included is new theme for Kong plus some lively chants for the natives of his island home. This presentation also includes the unrecorded “Flying Kong” theme, variations on those native chants, and the background suites assembled by Toho from earlier film scores for their theatrical trailers.
