Product Description: Mirka 6" Multifit Grip Sanding Backup Pad and Pad Saver (916GVMF) features a 6" diameter size and 5/16" x 24 male thread attachment and medium density. It is specifically designed for use with Mirka 6” Multifit discs. Optimized for superior dust extraction during primer sanding, it’s ideal for collision repair and marine applications. The backing pad includes a custom Mirka Multifit Pad Saver (9956-MF), which acts as a protective layer between the backing pad and the sanding disc. The 9956-MF sacrificial pad saver extends the life of the backing pad by preventing wear and tear during continuous, aggressive sanding. Manufactured using advanced molded polymers and highest quality construction. Perfectly balanced to eliminate vibration and provide superior finishing.  Package includes one 916GVMF backup pad and one Mirka Multifit Pad Saver (9956-MF).
