Our standard capacity spark ignition system by HPC is specially designed for its low-maintenance care and ease of use! This push-button ignition has a standing pilot that waits at the ready for you to set your fire pit ablaze. To light, simply depress the push-button ignitor to cause a spark, then slowly turn the valve knob to adjust the height of the flame. As the fire is burning, a thermocouple will monitor the status of your safety with flame-sensing technology. If it detects that flame presence is lost or the system is overheating, the gas will shut down before automatically attempting to relight the flame. Everything operates from one 9-Volt battery for your convenience, making it perfect for outdoor use with no source of power! Compatible with natural gas or propane and is rated for up to 90,000 BTUs.
