The RSD-D, designed to meet SunSpec requirements, ensures continuous normal function by consistently receiving a heartbeat signal from the APsmart Transmitter. Rapid system shutdown is executed promptly when the Transmitter signal is absent, and users have the option to manually initiate shutdown using the Transmitter breaker switch. Compliant with NEC2017 and 2020 (690.12) requirements, the RSD-D guarantees safety and reliability. It incorporates APsystems' RSD ASIC Chip, featuring redundancy topology for enhanced reliability with fewer electrical components on the PCB. Offering cost-effectiveness, the RSD-D incorporates dual-input channels, effectively reducing both product and installation costs. Its flexibility is highlighted by its small and lightweight design, with optional adhesive- or rack-mounting.
