The 1980s found her in suburban Oak Park, Illinois, where she became a friend and co-conspirator with the Chicago Surrealist Group. This book traces memories of their shared adventures. Penelope Rosemont co-founded the group in 1966 after an extended stay in Paris, where she met André Breton and his group, and was invited to become part of their activities. The Chicago group’s first act protested William S.
