2023 "My First" Sparkling Valdiguié

Varietal: 100% Valdiguié  Alcohol: 12% Vineyard: Green Valley Vineyard - Solano County. Organically farmed. Vinification: Fruit was destemmed with daily pumpovers throughout fermentation. Pressed after a few days to settle before bottling at around 2 brix. Disgorged by hand this March. Unfined, unfiltered, no no added S02. The Wine: To be honest I made this for freshman year of college me. The first wine I remember liking was a two buck chuck Lambrusco from Trader Joe's. When I started making wine I knew I eventually wanted to to try my hand at my long lost TJ wine. And I've got to say this wine smacks. Lots of dark fruit, cherries, pomegranate, the like, and fantastic bubbles.
