Linothele fallax is a neotropical diplurid spider originally described from Alto Juruá, Brazil but is distributed from Juruá, Brazil to Rurrenabaque, Bolivia. It inhabits natural crevices near ground level and burrows in the ground, favoring existing burrows rather than creating new ones. Like others in the genus, it is a heavy webbing species that creates extensive funnel webs.
