Ceramic Glass Wear Platens are used to reduce heat, prolong platen life, get crisp plunges and ensure flatness. We offer our Standard size 2" x 10" for use on the Standard Platen and a 2" x 8" for use on the Mareko Platen. Recommended materials to use glass platen; 1/8" steel wear plate, original JB Weld epoxy 24-hour cure time. If your machine came with a 1/4” wear plate, you can choose to use a 1/4” wear plate with your glass platen.
