As long as you flip the reeds consistently this system should work beautifully for more than 45 days. Please note, the reeds can get clogged with dirt in certain environments and may need to be replaced to ensure the evaporation of the liquid. *EXAMPLE: Homes with older windows allow more dust in homes and this is generally when new reeds may be required.
