The Hand Powered Palm Brace That "Charms Your Socks Off" Designed by John Economaki Inspired by a woodcut image of a little brace for grinding the valve seats in an old manual for Ford Model T, John Economaki became obsessed with the possibility of a similar tool perfect for hand drilling and screwdriver, and he created the PB-1 Palm Brace in 2000. In 2008, John designed the Commemorative Edition Palm Brace CT-16 to celebrate our woodworking heritage.
