Narcissus and Echo - January Preorder
In one of his many escapades, Zeus joined a group of Nymphs for a bit of consensual (for once) fun. Hera, growing curious as to where her husband had run of to, tracked him down. One nymph, Echo, broke away from the group to run interference and help keep Zeus's secret. Hera grew suspicious of Echo's incessant nervous talking and barged past her, catching her husband in his infidelity. Naturally, Hera did nothing to punish her husband, King of the Gods. So she punished the nymph that tried to stop her. She cursed Echo to only ever repeat what was said to her. Shunned by her fellow nymphs (it is pretty annoying to hear everything you say repeated back to you constantly), Echo began to wander the forests. Eventually she came across a group of hunters, one of them, far more attractive than the rest, his name was Narcissus. Somehow, Narcissus got separated from the group. "Hello!?" He shouted. "Hello!?" Echo replied "Who's there?" "Who's there..." and so it went slowly finding their way
