Rust and Patina Rain - This piece mimics the look of rain.  The original background was done with copper patina for the sky and rust oxidized paint for the ground.  I used Caboshons in the shape of raindrops.  Where the ground and the sky merge- i used the molten metal process to give a look of a river.  A 2 part epoxy was used to make the sky surface look wet.  *Michele Rust and Patina Rain is a one of a kind hand embellished reproduction using our raised  “Molten Metals” process. This added dimension makes it look like the original but at a fraction of the cost. Printed on a ready to hang 1.5" deep canvas, the edges are gallery wrapped in black so there's no need to frame!
