Freshdesk doesn’t allow you to add descriptions to ticket fields by default. Advanced Ticket Field Descriptions let you add detailed descriptions and instructions to create a better customer experience and resolve queries faster. Users can also add bold, italic, or underlined text, links, and images in ticket forms. Additionally, you can define different descriptions for different options of the same field (for example, a drop-down list).
