Philips Screwdriver vs. the Corkscrew Like a Jedi choosing their lightsaber color (okay, yes, we’re geeks) the eternal battle between which is the better back-tool continues to be waged in the hearts and pockets of true SAK collectors and Outdoors folk. While we love the history of the corkscrew (it all started in 1897 on a shiny little tool called the Victorinox Officer’s Knife, now the Spartan), truth be told, in our house we’re way more likely to use a Philips screwdriver than we are a corkscrew.
