Angela's aim for this Chianti Classico is to ‘obtain a wine that is fresh and drinkable.’ The grapes are sourced from the estate's various vineyards in Radda and Gaiole, with each parcel vinified separately in concrete or stainless steel. The wine then matures for 12 months in large Austrian and Slavonian oak casks and barrels, with a portion in concrete. Bright and fresh, this is full of juicy black and red hedgerow berries, with fine, sandy and well integrated tannins, and a lovely wash of energising acidity."  Wine Spectator, 91 Points  "A vivid, linear red, evoking black cherry, blackberry, licorice and spice flavors.
