Interchiller (Patented) from Forced Induction
Interchillers use your car's AC system to deliver a subfreezing coolant supply to your intercooler thereby lowering your intake air temperature. Lower IATs can be turned into big gains in horsepower. All else being equal, heat removal in your intercooler is a function of the termperature differential between the hot air inlet temp and the inlet coolant liquid temperature. If your IAT is 150F with 90F coolant, that's a 40F spread. If the coolant is 30F, you have a 120F spread. Pretty obvious what to expect. This package comes with a solenoid so you can choose between cruise (cabin AC + chiller) or race mode (chiller only). How does it work? By T-piecing into the car's AC system and splitting the refrigerant 50/50 between your cabin and chiller. The solenoid is on to the line going to the cabin to provide the 2 modes of operation (cruise and race). Race mode is race track safe as no condensation will leak from the car's cabin evaporator. The interchiller core is a patented design,
