Dust jacket has some tearing near spine; sealed tear / discoloration on top-left of front.  A few sticker marks on back and on front panel.   Now housed in a new HQ brodart jacket protector.  Book itself is pristine; looks new and unread.  The author's childhood was warm, bright and serene. The Hampstead and Lancing schooldays which followed were sometimes agreeable, but often not. His life at Oxford - which he evokes in Brideshead Revisited - was essentially a catalogue of friendship. This title presents a portrait of his recollection of those hedonistic days.
