Clematis are long-lived and vigorous growers, often growing to 30 feet long or more. Clematis prefer full sun, but can tolerate part sun in most conditions. It will need well-draining soil that is nutrient dense to establish, so consider amending the soil with fertilizers or organic material to promote growth and establishment during it's first year.
