My Sock Canvas | Knitting Pattern

My Sock Canvas is the latest in a series of my designs in which simple knitting is morphed into unique pieces with the addition of embroidery. Stockinette is truly a perfect canvas to express yourself through stitching. Whether you choose motifs or monograms, running stitches or graphics, the possibilities are endless! This sock pattern calls for the leg of the sock to be divided with one half knitted, the other half purled. The foot is entirely knitted. The resulting pair of socks is a perfect canvas to carry on with your creativity, adding embroidery to set your inner artist free! *Please note that the pattern does not include instructions for embroidery. You can find charted embroidery motifs on my website here. The pattern offers six different sizes to fit foot circumferences 5.5, 7, 7.5 (8, 8.5, 9)” / 14, 18, 19 (20.5, 21.5, 23) cm. This loosely translates to 2-4 years old to adult XL. If you are in between sizes and plan on adding embroidery, I suggest you make the larger size.
