Prized for their beauty and durability, end grain cutting boards are constructed using an “end grain” wood pattern. When fabricated in this way, the wood fibers stand on end allowing the blade of a knife to move between the fibers instead of cutting through them, essentially making them “self-healing”. This results in longer-lasting boards as well as sharper, longer-lasting knives! Aside from their amazing functionality, they are truly works of art and beautiful to display when not in use! Our end grain boards are made in the USA of high-quality, solid hardwoods. Two integrated, hand-carved handles allow for easy maneuvering.
