This work is was inspired by our contradictory treatment of animals. Rabbits are perceived as both cuddly companion animals but also as meat and fur “products”. Whilst we support an industry that raises millions of companion animals, we also trap, torture and kill billions of animals annually. My work seeks to expose such contradictions in the face of widespread, culturally ingrained acceptance of this schism.
