The SCHMETZ Leather sewing machine needle has a left twist cutting point. As the name suggests, use the Leather needle to sew leather, faux leather, paper, and heavy non-woven synthetics. The cutting point easily penetrates the leather. Remember once the stitch is created, the thread can be removed, but the stitch hole will remain.
