Mineral: Onyx, banded calciteOrigin: Pakistan This unique stoneware is exquisitely hand crafted from a single piece of metamorphic onyx mined in Balochistan Province in Western Pakistan, whose skilled artisans are renowned for transforming solid stone into functional pieces such as bowls, plates and other stoneware to support their community. White onyx is a translucent, semi-precious gemstone of quartz with a fine crystal formation. These dishes display bands of bright whites and creams with burnt sienna veins in honeyed amber tones with a polished finish. This hand carved/polished bowl is made from natural stone mined in Pakistan. To care for this item we recommend cleaning with a damp cloth. 3” x 15/16” 2.5 ounces
