Bloody Mary Shrimp

Scientific Name: Neocaridina. DavidiCommon Name: Bloody Mary ShrimpFully Grown Size: 1.6 inches (4cm) Bloody Mary is unique compared to Red Cherry Shrimp. Bloody Mary has a shorter rostrum than Red Cherry Shrimp and is red-fleshed instead of having a red shell. Bloody mary can be translucent red or can be as dark as a Painted Fire Shrimp.  Bloody Mary has amazing coloration and is beautiful in every way.  Bloody Mary comes from the Neocaridina Davidi Line and has been selectively bred to get its red flesh color. Although there are multiple colors of neocaridina in the same line, it is not recommended to mix them to keep the genes to be the purist it can be. If you do however mix the colors, you will most likely end up with wild brown colored offsprings. Bloody Mary like all neocaridinas are slightly harder to sex until they mature.
