Amazon Sword (Echinodorus amazonicus)

Amazon swords are a staple in the planted aquarium hobby.  Our swords have been fully transitioned to aquarium life to make the transition to your aquarium seamless.  They do not require CO2 but will need fertilization and with especially benefit from root tabs.  These plants can grow up to 20 inches tall so they are a great background or centerpiece plant.  Scientific Name - Echinodorus amazonicus Lighting: Medium to High Care Level - Easy Placement - This plant is a great Background plant. To minimize shipping delays we only ship live plants on Monday and Tuesday.  Plant orders placed on Tuesday or later will ship the following week. If your local area had extreme heat or cold we recommend having your mail held at the post office on the day of arrival.  This is free and can be done online or at the post office.  That way your plants stay indoors until you pick them up to protect them from the elements. We do our best to remove any visible hitch hikers from your plants before we ship
