The Bulldog's looked to notch a big win against the overmatched SWAC opponent and Southern's "Human Jukebox" band was going to give a halftime show never before seen between the hedges. That's exactly what those in attendance got. By day's end, Nick Chubb tied a long standing record (13 consecutive 100 yards rushing games held by Herschel Walker) going 131 yards and 2 TD's adding another receiving for 3 on the day. Southern's band was everything advertised and more too.
