Enjoy Worry-free HVAC Operation! The float switch has proven to be a great line of defense when the condensate drain is clogged. Installation was easy. I simply removed the plug in the auxiliary drain pan and screwed in the bushing included with the switch. After connecting the wires to the thermostat switch wire, the cut off switch was installed. If your coil pan does not have a secondary/auxiliary drain port, then additional PVC fittings will be required. The switch can be safely tested at any time by removing the switch from its PVC housing and lifting the plunger into the cutoff position. This will disconnect the power from the thermostat to the air handler. The switch worked perfectly. - S.
