‘Perpetual Light’

‘Perpetual Light’Two preserved butterflies displayed in a vintage, mirrored enclosure. Featuring Victorian hair art-inspired florals using genuine hair, and true antique lace. One of the things I love most about this piece is its flexibility in how it’s displayed. It can either hang gracefully on a wall, or sit perfectly upon a shelf. I also love the mirrored background. This is one of the first pieces I’ve incorporated my Victorian hair art-inspired works into; a skill I’m still working to improve and learn more about various techniques.
