In a dematerialised world where all is virtual and generic, Fluid Rock is a pursuit towards the definition of a new type of aesthetic, evoking the desire to return to a sort of physical materiality and uniqueness. The works from the series Fluid Rock evoke fantastical gems from another cosmos, fragments of utopian landscapes where gemmology and geology are in total symbiosis in a future ecosphere. Their origins could lie within a mythical celestial factory, from deep inside the earth, from outer space, or from inner cells. A certain living energy is animated inside these enduring glass rocks, inviting the mind to expand into the cosmological infinity that they suggest.
