‘Butter’ (stool) is an evocative domestic object made from an antithetical ‘mould’ that allows each iteration to be cast uniquely – in other words, a mould that produces one-offs. This design was commissioned and produced in 2020 for the occasion of the reopening of MACRO (Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome) under the new curatorial direction of Luca Lo Pinto.
