This O-Ring splicing kit includes black Buna-N o-ring cord in various diameters. The oring cord is durable, high quality, and made in the USA. The cord has a round cross-section and can be used across a wide temperature range from -40 degrees F (-40 degrees C) to 212 degrees F (100 degrees C). The splicing kit comes in a plastic box with instructions, cord stock, splicing jig, cutting tool, and adhesive.Beaver Island Parts Company assembles the o-ring splicing components into a convenient and durable kit that will last for many uses. This kit can make one o-ring up to 45 inches in diameter, or multiple smaller o-rings. Buna-nitrile can have high tensile strength, as well as abrasion, tear, and compression set resistance. It is compatible for use with petroleum, hexafluoroacetone (hfa), hexafluoro-2-butyne (hfb) and hydrofluorocarbon (hfc) fluids, vegetable oil, alcohol, acids, and aliphatic hydrocarbons.
