KAWS made a large mural size painting of this image in the Beautiful Losers exhibition - specifically the Orange County iteration of the show.One thing about this piece that doesn't come through in the images is the texture. It's a letterpress print, so it has an almost sculptural quality to it. Each element is raised above the level of the main sheet of paper. The sheet itself has a lot of texture as well - an almost handmade paper quality to it. This is a technically more difficult print to make than a typical screen print and requires experienced artisans to execute well. The textured paper is something you don't often see.
