Art Deco Copper Vase with Floral Band and Bronze Patina Circa 1930
A lovely metal vase with a bronze finish that has a deep and intricate repousse band of flowers and leaves. The flowers look like roses. The pressed copper molded vase is decorated in the Art Deco style with repousse bands of flowers on the shoulder and a beaded band at the mouth. The vase has a nice tapering urn shape with a flat base and no foot. It has had a bronze patina added to the surface. MEASUREMENTS 11 ¼” (28.6 cm) tall x 4 ¾” (12.1 cm) diameter. Weighs 13.8 oz (390 g) CONDITION There is wear to the bronze finish and you can see the copper color coming through in spots. There are wear scratches. The most noticeable one is on the side of the shoulder. There is a dent on the shoulder and smaller dents on the mouth and edge of the base. The vase has a nice aged look.
