Yoruba Invocation Staff, Nigeria #802 A Yoruba Invocation Staff of high abstract symbols of a Ceremonial Knife or Sword, a lizard, an eye and perhaps a Ceremonial Bowl or Cauldron used in Sacrifice. Other unidentified signs are not yet determined. There are remnants of blueish and white Kaolin Ritual Pigments Measurements: approx 16" or (41cm) high. Age: Mid 20th Century Provenance: Private Collection in Germany.Condition: Fine# well worn and Ritually-used. Great remaining detail and patina and pigmentation.
