Despite this range, the 50-300mm F4.5-6.3 VC remains exceptionally compact at just 150mm (5.9") in length and remarkably lightweight at 665g (23.5 oz), making it well-balanced when paired with an APS-C camera for a 75-450mm equivalent. The expertly designed lens elements effectively control aberrations, ensuring high image quality throughout the zoom range. Equipped with a VXD linear motor focus mechanism, the lens delivers quiet and agile autofocus performance, while the VC image stabilization system provides robust support for all shooting situations.
