5 D Battery Eliminator Kit - 7.5 Volts 1.5A Heavy Duty - AC Powered

Replaces 5 D or 5 AA batteries with wall-outlet AC power. Output: 7.5 Volts, up to 1.5 Amp (1500mA) current from AC power.  This Heavy Duty model kit includes a more powerful AC power adapter that is capable of up to 1.5 Amps of output at 7.5 Volts DC.  If you have a motorized device that normally runs on 6 Volts (often 4x D cells) but want a bit more zip this unit may be for you. Be aware that running a device above its normal voltage may shorten its life or give unexpected results. There are rumors of folks using this model in Hot Wheels boosters for extra fast performance. We have confirmed that it will turn on our Hot Wheels booster but otherwise is untested.
