Replace 4 AAA Alkaline battery cells with this universal 6V DC battery eliminator. Connects to USB A type port on a phone charger, computer, or portable USB battery pack. Installs like AAA batteries in your device. Works for products that operate on four, 1.5 Volt Alkaline Batteries. Not compatible with high current devices like photo flashes or devices with motors and solenoids. This model uses a DC-DC step-up convertor from 5V USB to 6VDC output. Utilizes our custom AAA battery cells, one Active and three Dummy (shorted) to complete the series-circuit in your 4 AAA cell battery tray. Connects to USB port on a phone charger, computer, or portable USB battery pack. Connects USB bus power (6 Volts DC) to AAA wired cell. Maximum current is determined by the capabilities of your USB port. This unit is capable of handling up to 1.0 Amp. Standard cable length is 3 ft/0.9 m.
