Like the well-known Pettersson M500-384 microphone, the u-series microphones identify as standard audio recording devices on Windows, OS X, Android, iOS and Linux. Likewise, they are compatible with most common sound recording apps and programs. The USB connector on the u384 plugs directly into a USB C jack, becoming a small and portable recording unit. An extension cable and/or other types of USB jacks may also be used, with an adapter (not included). For professional use/best recording quality, we recommend the microphone be extended at least ~10 feet (or more) above ground.
